5 SIMPLE WAYS TO SELF-CARE
1.BE GRATEFUL
- It’s always good to notice what we have. Keep a journal by your bed and note the things that you feel grateful to have. Everything from house, to a good friend is worth noting.
2. GIFT YOUR INNER CHILD
- Think of some of your favorite things when you were little? Did you love sidewalk chalk, coloring, or eating your favorite food? Treat your inner child to a little present and allow the warm feelings to take over!
3. CREATE A COZY SPACE
- Create a space and add some candles or fun throw pillows. By building a space that feels warm and inviting, you establish an inviting space for when tough times arise
4. UNPLUG
- Take the time to break away from social media, and cellphone’s and allow yourself to focus on the beauty of the moment.
5. SAY NO TO OTHERS AND YES TO YOU!
- Saying no is really hard; many of us feel obligated to say yes when someone asks for our time or energy. However, if you’re already stressed or overworked, saying yes to loved ones or coworkers can lead to burnout. Politely say NO and don’t feel guilty about it!
